The IGUS linear motion systems are made forsmooth,silentandvibration freemotion, at high speed - exactly what you want in your 3D printer. The rods have an extra smooth and hard coated surface.
The rods and bushings in the sets are a 1:1 replacement for the rods and bearings of the Prusa i3 MK3 - no other changes or modifications needed.
TheIDE IGUS sets for the Prusa i3 MK2, MK2s, MK3 and MK3scontains the high speed motion system for the X and Y axis, since the Z axis moves slow, it is not required there.
