Up for sale is a true milestone of 90s childhood edutainment: JumpStart 2nd Grade on CD-ROM. Published by Knowledge Adventure, this classic learning software title features the iconic duo of CJ the Frog and his firefly sidekick Edison guiding young learners through a full, interactive second-grade curriculum.
The adventure begins inside a secret clubhouse hidden away behind a creaky elevator inside the schoolhouse walls. Players can explore multiple gameplay avenues, including Stamps Mode (completing educational mini-games to earn points towards animated, collectible stamps) and Adventure Mode (acting as a Pen Pal club member to solve geographic and logic challenges across all 50 U.S. states). Packed with 22 games covering math (addition, subtraction, multiplication), reading comprehension, grammar, parts of speech, and early science, it perfectly blends rigorous learning with late-90s PC gaming charm.
Ideal for vintage big-box and jewel-case software collectors, early childhood education enthusiasts, or anyone wanting a pure wave of computer-lab nostalgia!
