The box was sealed with manufacture tape but with any older electronics I open them up to inspect the inside. If you look at the cord it is still wrapped as they do at the factory. Once you unravel it and use the machine it very hard to get the cord wrapped up again. The ink is still sealed as well. It might have dried out over the years but since its sealed it might still be good. The box has some storage wear but is included.
