I used this camera for live webcam performances and was very happy with it. I lost the lens cover as I never needed it. The camera is plug and play needing no downloaded software, whether with a Windows computer or Linux or Mac. I used it with all three and never had an issue. However, for better performance I chose to use the OBS Studio software as recommended by most sites. My customers/viewers always mentioned how well my camera captured every move with no blinks, absolutely live. (Do a search on OBS Studio to download for your particular computer.)
The cord itself is about 64 inches (little more than 5 feet) long. Please notice that I am not only selling a webcam but I am making as sure as I can to get it to you safely with excellent packing, not just a plastic bag.
