These were pulled from a working system, they didn't want to deal with managed switches anymore. They will need to software reset (press and hold the RES pin in with a paperclip while you plug in power) in order to go to the generic password and settings.

Once there, they need a software update...easily done through winbox.
These are powerful managed switches with RouterOS, Mikrotik makes good stuff, so for the tinkerer, these are great fun. But for someone who just wants to plug and play, look elsewhere. RouterOS is not for everyone.
Each unit has the rack ears, screws, and DC power supply. I'm the original owner, I had these for my home office, where they were real workhouses, but as I'm scaling down now...I don't have the time/energy to play with these anymore.
