Configuration is the selling point. Most GS75 9SG units on the market ship with 16GB or 32GB. This one has 64GB in two 32GB DDR4-2667 SODIMM modules, plus 2TB of NVMe storage, which Windows reports as 1.86TB after formatting.Price those parts out today. Thanks to the DRAM and NAND shortage, a single 32GB DDR4 SODIMM runs $150 to $240, and 2TB of NVMe adds another $100 to $150. That is $350 to $500 in memory and storage alone,Specs: Intel Core i9-9880H, 9th gen, 8 cores and 16 threads, 2.30GHz base. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design, 8GB GDDR6. 64GB DDR4-2667. 2TB NVMe SSD. 17.3 inch 1920x1080 IPS at 144Hz. Windows 11 Pro 24H2, clean install, updated and activated.Ports: three USB-A, one USB-C, one USB-C Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, headphone jack, microphone jack, microSD reader, Kensington lock. Wireless is Killer Wireless-AC, Wi-Fi 5, plus Bluetooth 5.Where this machine makes sense: video editing and rendering, where 64GB means Premiere or DaVinci Resolve stops swapping to disk on 4K timelines and the RTX 2080 handles CUDA acceleration and NVENC encoding. Photo work in Lightroom or Photoshop with large catalogs. CAD, 3D modeling, and Blender rendering. Running virtual machines or Docker containers, where memory is usually the first wall you hit. Local AI models, since 8GB of VRAM runs small models comfortably and the 64GB handles larger ones on CPU. A media server with hardware transcoding. And 1080p gaming at high settings on a 144Hz panel, which is what it was built for in the first place. For anyone who needs a lot of memory and fast storage without paying 2026 component prices, this is the cheapest route to that spec I know of.Confirmed working: display with no dead pixels, all keys and per key SteelSeries RGB, trackpad, speakers, webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, HDMI, Thunderbolt, all USB ports, microSD reader, both fans, charging.Condition: normal cosmetic wear consistent with age.
