For sale is an original 2 030 50MHz processor accelerator for vintage Apple Macintosh systems.
The DiiMO 030 was one of MicroMac’s high-performance Motorola 68030 accelerators, combining a 50MHz 68030 processor with 64KB of high-speed static L2 cache and zero-wait-state technology. This example is also fitted with the optional FPU.
MicroMac designed the DiiMO 030 family for a range of 68030-era Macintosh systems, including the Macintosh II, IIci, IIvx, IIvi, IIsi, IIcx, IIx, SE/30, LC III, and related Performa models. Installation and adapter requirements vary by Macintosh model.
This particular accelerator has been fully tested in a Macintosh IIci and is working correctly.
The board is in excellent cosmetic condition. The PCB is exceptionally clean, the gold ceramic CPU and FPU packages present very well, and the connector is clean and in excellent condition. Please review the photos carefully for exact condition.
DiiMO 030 v2.2 can be downloaded from Macintosh Garden and Macintosh Repository.
Please verify compatibility and any adapter requirements for your particular Macintosh before purchasing.
Photos are of the actual accelerator being sold.
