This NEC PowerMate 286 Plus PM-20-100B desktop PC powers on and will boot to BIOS; however, it is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The system does not recognize either floppy drive. Both floppy drives — the NEC FD1157C 5.25-inch and the Panasonic JU-257 3.5-inch — were tested externally on a separate computer and confirmed working. There is no hard drive installed. The case shows age-related yellowing across most plastic surfaces, and there are a few visible cracks on the upper-right corner near the power button.
