ConditionOpen box. Plastic was still on the front when opened. Input trays and rollers look clean — no paper dust or wear that would indicate regular use. Housing is clean with a couple of light marks on the lid (see photos). Box has crushed corners and handling wear.
Powers on. SCAN and PDF LEDs light green. Recognized as NeatDesk Scanner in the Neat Scan Utility. Test page dated 9/29/26 scanned and displayed on screen in the video.
Software noteThe disc in the box is the original-era installer (box lists Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8). That disc may not install cleanly on Windows 11.
Current Neat Desktop / Scan Utility plus the ND-1000 driver from Neat’s support site does work on Windows 11 — that is what was used for the test in the video. Buyer should download the current ND-1000 driver from Neat rather than relying on the old disc. Seller does not provide ongoing software support or a Neat Cloud subscription.
