Super-fast, whole-house Wi-Fi 7

NETGEAR's Orbi 970 quad-band Wi-Fi 7 system provides incredibly fast, stable wireless internet covering up to 6,600 square feet. The router works in tandem with the satellite to create a mesh network that gives up to 200 connected devices smooth, reliable access to your home network. It can handle the demands of a busy household, where you might have one person videoconferencing for work or school, another watching Ultra HD video, and another gaming online — all of them multi-tasking on their smartphones at the same time.

Speed and stability

For people with multi-gigabit internet providers, this system's maximum Wi-Fi speeds of 27Gbps are more than adequate for super-smooth 8K video and immersive online virtual reality gaming. You also get a system total of six 2.5-Gigabit and two 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports that let you make wired connections to TVs, music streamers, gaming consoles, and other devices. That can help keep radio-frequency noise and interference out of your video, audio, or gaming streams.

Four lanes keep wireless traffic flowing

The Orbi 970 system uses four Wi-Fi bands for seamless connectivity with multiple devices in a busy household. Wi-Fi 7 operates in the relatively new 6GHz band, for even less congestion and interference. And one of its two 5GHz bands is a dedicated "backhaul" channel, with the sole purpose of keeping a rock-solid connection between the router and satellite. Twelve amplified, high-performance internal antennas in each module help strengthen and extend the mesh coverage.

Convenient app control and security features

The free NETGEAR Orbi app walks you through the process of connecting the router and satellite. And the app gives you access to settings and performance monitoring via your mobile device. It's got strong WPA3 security, and you can also subscribe to premium service tiers that offer virus protection, parental controls, and more.
