Important Compatibility Information

This drive uses an Apple-specific connector, not a standard M.2 connector. It does not directly fit ordinary PC M.2 slots.

Not compatible internally with 2012 or earlier MacBook Air models, Early-2013 or earlier Retina MacBook Pro models, or 2016 and newer MacBook Pro models.

For internal installation, the compatible Mac must have received the necessary firmware updates through installation of macOS High Sierra 10.13 or later before the SSD swap. macOS 10.13 or later is required for use as a Mac startup drive.

The drive is currently mounted in the pictured USB enclosure. External operation depends on enclosure compatibility and drive formatting.
