OWC ThunderBay 4 mini: 4-Bay 2.5" Thunderbolt 3 Enclosure [Diskless / with 4x XXX drives]
This is a compact, fast external storage enclosure for 2.5" SSDs or hard drives. It's a good fit for video editing, photo libraries, backups, or adding a lot of fast storage to a Mac or PC with Thunderbolt.
Features:
- 4 bays for 2.5" SATA SSDs or HDDs
- 2x Thunderbolt 3 ports, so you can daisy-chain other Thunderbolt devices
- Up to [1,500+] MB/s with SSDs in RAID 0
- Supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 through software RAID (SoftRAID, Apple Disk Utility, or Windows Storage Spaces)
- Quiet cooling fan and an aluminum case
- Works with Macs (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows PCs that have Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB4 ports
Important:This enclosure needs a Thunderbolt or USB4 port. It won't work on a computer that only has standard USB-C ports.
