Unlike standard single-port ATAs, the OBi110 features both a standard phone port (FXS) and a physical copper telephone line port (FXO), making it a popular choice for bridging analog landlines, legacy intercoms, or POTS lines into modern IP telephony systems.

This unit is intended for use as a standalone SIP ATA or FXO gateway configured directly through its built-in web GUI for platforms such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or independent SIP ITSPs (VoIP.ms, Callcentric, etc.).
