The holy grail of Apple paper ephemera: the original April 1977 introductory brochure for the Apple II — "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Introducing Apple II, the personal computer."
This is the FIRST printing, verified by the "Printed in U.S.A. 4/77" imprint on the Technical Overview page — released for the Apple II's public debut, the same year Apple Computer incorporated. Famous red apple cover, full-color fold-out spread ("Sophisticated design makes it simple"), and complete Technical Overview spec sheet listing the 6502 processor, Integer BASIC, and Apple's original Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino address.
A copy of this brochure is held in the Computer History Museum's permanent collection. Genuine 1977 first printings rarely surface — most surviving examples are later reprints or hole-punched dealer copies. This one is NOT hole-punched.
