Each key was tested in Intel M/B (see the last picture).RKSAS8R5 Intel C600 chipset feature enabler. This enables all C600 features including builtin RAID5 - Additional 8 PORTS for On-Server Board SATA/SAS Controller with pass-through SAS/SATA(for use with ZFS in FreeNas,TrueNas etc) or RAID up to 5 with ESRT2, ie RKSAS8R5 is superior to RKSATA4,RKSAS4,RKSAS8, RKSATA8 as it enables all SAS/SATA ports and RAID5 where applicable.

The Intel server boards capable of supporting additional chipset embedded SAS and RAID optionsfrom the SCU controller when configured with one of several available Intel® RAID C600Upgrade Keys.
