Vintage Radio Shack / Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer 2 (CoCo 2) BundleFully Tested & Working System with CCR-81 Recorder, Complete-in-Box Math Adventures with Mickey Game, Manuals & Cables

Up for sale is a ready-to-play vintage Radio Shack Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer 2 (CoCo 2) bundle. Both the console and the included CCR-81 Cassette Recorder have been thoroughly tested together by loading and running the included copy of Math Adventures with Mickey.

This is a great vintage computing starter package that includes everything needed to hook up to a standard modern or CRT television right out of the box.

What’s Included

• Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer 2 (CoCo 2) console with attached power supply

• Radio Shack CCR-81 Computer Cassette Recorder

• Cassette Interface Cable (connects recorder directly to the CoCo 2)

• Cassette Power Adapter / Power Cord

• RCA Video Cable + RCA Female to F-Type Male Coaxial Adapter (allows direct connection to a TV’s standard 75-ohm threaded cable/antenna input)

• Math Adventures with Mickey Cassette Game (Complete in Original Box with cassette and documentation)

• Original Operation Manuals & Documentation

• Original Retail Boxes for both the CoCo 2 and the CCR-81 Recorder

Operational & Cosmetic Condition

• CoCo 2 Computer: Tested & Fully Functional. Boots to Color BASIC instantly. Keyboard registers inputs cleanly, video/RF output displays properly, and the cassette port reads and writes data as expected. Cosmetically in excellent vintage condition with only minor light scuffs from normal use. No significant yellowing, cracking, or deep gouges.

• CCR-81 Cassette Recorder: Tested & Working. Successfully read, loaded, and ran the included cassette game without errors. Play, rewind, fast-forward, and stop all engage smoothly.

  • Note on Recorder Hinge: One hinge tab on the cassette compartment door is broken, so the door will not hold itself open automatically when ejected (must be held or lifted by hand to insert/remove tapes). The door latches closed securely, sits flush, and playback/operation is completely unaffected.

• Game (Math Adventures with Mickey): Complete in box. The cassette loaded properly during testing. Box and manual show light vintage shelf wear.

• Original Boxes: Present and complete with identifiable graphics, but in very rough cosmetic shape with heavy shelf wear, edge tears, creasing, and tape marks (see high-resolution photos for exact condition).
