CUSTOM SCSI2SD ENCLOSURE w/Cable
Up for sale is a very helpful tool for Macintosh hobbyists... This external HD enclosure houses a SCSI2SD V4.2c which is loaded with Mac System 7.1 and 7.6, some applications, some utilities and a bunch of classic 68k era games. The case looks great under a compact Mac like the SE/30 (pictured BUT NOT included). I modified this enclosure to for the SCSI2SD board in what I would like to consider a very tasteful and professional manner... with the board internally mounted on plastic risers and held in place with rubber washers. Also, I removed the SCSI ID selector switch and installed a panel mounted USB socket in its place, which connects directly to the board allowing you to plug this into your modern computer to setup and make adjustments without having to even open the enclosure.
Also, the activity light is connected to the board and works perfectly. The other light indicates power. It takes a standard power cable (not included) and a SCSI 25 pin to 50 pin Centronics device cable which is included. The inside of this enclosure and lid is in perfect condition and exceptionally clean... no dust even. Look like new. But the outside has a few rust spots. See photos. By the way, I have disconnected the internal fan because it is not needed... unit runs completely silently.
The SCSI2SD card is one of the originals from Michael McMaster. Very rare these days. I am open to considering offers because I was not exactly sure how to price it.
