Why Initial cartridges have more ink than regular cartridges??

After thorough testing and weighting (check the pictures). A new 786 initial black cartridge has about the same or more amount of ink as a black 786XL (around 45-48 grams ink) (large capacity cartridge).

The color initial cartridges, contain two times as much as the color XL (comparing 38 grams to 19 grams) !
