This product cannot be used to connect a SAS hard disk to the SATA port of a normal motherboard.
If you want to use a SAS hard disk on a normal SATA motherboard, the hard disk must have the SATA logo; the SATA interface on the motherboard is labeled SAS, indicating that the motherboard supports SAS

• SATA supports up to 6GB SATA3 mode.
