This is a new, unused 24-port 1Gbps plus 4-port 10Gbps (SFP+) SonicWall Ethernet Switch. It has 4 SFP+ sockets for plenty of total massive uplink bandwidth (or use some SFP+ ports for high-bandwidth user/device connections as well). Note that you will need your own 10GbSFP+modules to use these 4 additional port sockets (they will also support 1Gb SFP modules as well).
I purchased this as an open-box new item with sealed product inside. This means nothing unless it is verified since these seals can be pulled from the plastic intact to open and then be re-sealed, or even simply be a DOA from the factory. Happily, I opened it to verify, and it is a pristine, new unit with no fingerprints (except mine now) and no dust in the air inlets.
I also verified operation of all 24 Gb ports with traffic (pings from test PC, across switch to Google DNS), and all tested perfectly. I don't have the hardware to test the 10Gb ports, but I did verify each one accepts and recognizes a Cisco-Finisar 10Gb Long Range SFP+ fiber optic modules I have on-hand (see pic 11).
This unit also supports Power Over Ethernet Plus (POE+) across all 24 Gb ports with a total power of 410W (max concurrent ports depends on how much power each reserves; max of 30 watts per port). I don't have a way of testing those, but it is a great feature to support Network Cameras, Access Points, etc. without having AC power at the device.
These can be managed by the SonicWall Firewall for Enterprise use, but also as a stand-alone switch and configurable via CLI for use at home or other focused applications. I verified no previous configuration was applied and have included the system info via the CLI (see pic 12). Serial port settings - 115,112/8/None/1/None.
Note that I mask Serial Numbers in all cases to avoid unofficial registration, should that be an option.
This includes the original box, all orig packing materials, manual and accessories, and will ship inside a separate box for extra protection.
Thanks for looking, and lmk if you have any questions.
