Manufactured October drive type was standard in Dell desktop and workstation systems through the early 2000s for boot disk operations and data transfer. The MPF920-F connects via standard 34-pin floppy ribbon cable and 5V DC power connector. It functions as a legacy storage device in systems designed before USB flash drives became prevalent. These drives remain in use for maintaining or restoring older computer systems that retain floppy disk support.Condition: Used This Sony MPF920-F 3.5" 1.44MB internal floppy drive has been tested at our facility and confirmed to be in working order for reading a boot disk. The drive shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with prior use. The bezel is not included. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
