SFF-8087 straight to SFF-8088 Low Profile PCI bracket adapter. Supermicro CBL-0167L-LP. This is used to convert an internal SFF-8087 connection to an external SFF-8088 connector mounted in a low profile PCIe slot. This type of adapter is often used to convert a server chassis into a JBOD, or to convert a SAS expander backplane downstream cascading port into an external port.
