For sale are two Synology DX517 5-Bay Expansion Unit in slightly used, excellent condition.Both units have been well cared for and includes thereoriginal box.I used these units with a Synology DS1520+ and both worked well without issue. Each unit sold separately. The reason these units are for sell as I'm downsizing my home lab and do not need the extra storage. I used Seagate 18TB drives in both so I know either can handle large capacity drives. (Hard drives NOT Included). See pictures.

The DX517 is an excellent way to add up to five additional SATA drive bays to a compatible Synology DiskStation. It can be used to expand storage capacity or as a separate local backup/storage volume.
Hard drives/SSDs are NOT included.
