NOTES ON USE AND WEAR

This is a used enterprise drive with 2,444 recorded power-on hours, roughly 102 days of runtime. For a drive rated for continuous duty that is early life, and the defect and error counters are all still at zero. We are stating the number plainly so you can judge it yourself rather than discovering it later.

NOTES ON COMPATIBILITY

• This is a SAS drive, not SATA. It requires a SAS controller or HBA. It will not run from a standard SATA motherboard port.
• Sector format is 4Kn native, not 512e. Modern HBAs, ZFS, TrueNAS, unRAID, Linux and current server platforms handle 4Kn without issue. Some older RAID controllers expect 512-byte sectors and will not accept a 4Kn drive. If you are unsure about your controller, check before purchasing.

The drive carries a Cisco customer part number (58-100262-01) on the label. It reports full capacity and standard 4096-byte blocks on a generic HBA, so no vendor reformat is required.
