This is the smallest retro laptop I have ever encountered. It must have been VERY expensive back in the day. It boots up to Windows 2000 Pro, but I don't have the login information so I cannot test it further. It has attachments for the Network IO adapter and the floppy drive attachments. I couldn't test these, either. The label on the bottom gives a manufacture date of October 15, 1999 and identifies it as a Portege 3110CT/6.4, model number PAP311U-B, part number PAP311U-T2WB. The same label carries a Microsoft asset tag number and a Microsoft order reference number, and the Windows 2000 login screen it boots to is still joined to a corporate domain. Toshiba built the 3110CT around a 300 MHz Pentium II with a 10.4 inch active matrix screen, and it was their ultraportable flagship in 1999. There is also a built in modem and Ethernet. The two attachments shown are the Toshiba Network I/O Adaptor, model PA2734U, which adds an Ethernet port, PS/2, USB and audio out, and the Toshiba external 3.5 inch floppy disk drive, model PA2669U. Both were made in Japan and both come with their cables. Neither one was testable past the login screen. The CMOS battery is dead, so the machine will not hold its clock or its setup between power ups. The AC adapter is included; it is what powered the unit for the photos. The battery pack is not pictured separately, so please ask before buying if you need it confirmed. Because of the battery in the unit, this ships by ground service within the United States only. Please look at the photos for the cosmetic condition of the case and the lid.
