Used Cobblebot 3D Printer, 15"x15"x15" Build Volume, Great Condition
Price: US $700.00
This is a used Cobblebot 3D printer, purchased in 2015 from a Kickstarter campaign, and it is in great condition. The printer will come fully assembled (it was sold to me as a kit). The build volume is roughly 15"x15"x15" (give or take an inch in each direction). This printer is meant for the hobbyist/DIYer. Whoever buys this will need to upgrade/fix the Marlin firmware as I believe some of the current settings were not quite tuned properly or may be off.
There is nothing wrong with the printer, I just haven't used it in a while (and don't see a need for me to hang on to it anymore). When you purchase the printer, I will send you an email with the PDFs that came with the printer and the base firmware config files.
Over time, I have upgraded much of the printer including:- Delrin V wheels (instead of the cheap wheels that came with the printer) for moving the gantries- 15"x15"x0.25" glass build plate (I will supply the original 15"x15"x0.125" aluminum build plate)- Added a second X axis motor for better control of the carriage in the X axis.- Added an LCD screen with microSD card reader, I will also supply an 8GB microSD card- Upgraded the A4988 stepper drivers to DRV8825 (I will supply the original A4988 ones)- Made custom stand for the electronics (see photos)- Made custom limit switch holders (the last picture shows these holders I made to show you the print quality I was able to achieve)- Upgraded extruder motor mount (shown in 2nd last photo)- Added cooling fans near hotend
Additional info:- Being a DIY printer, this printer is controlled via an Arduino Mega 2560 with a RAMPS board- There are a total of 6 Nema motors: 2x to lift the XY gantry, 2x to provide X motion, 1x to provide Y motion, and 1x for the extruder- The extruder motor is not attached to the hot end assembly, but rather to the top front corner printer frame- The hot-end assembly provides an option for you to mount a second hot-end, if desired- I will provide any spare parts I purchased.- I will provide my Polymaker PLA filament, in case it is still usable (it was stored in a vacuum sealable bag with multiple silica packets to absorb any moisture)
