Bulb is a little over 1000 hours (2nd bulb in its life), was projected onto a 12ft screen, and was very bright even with lights on nearby.
Paid around $2500 for it new. Replaced with a 1080p LASER projector.
No rainbow effects or issues with the picture, works like new.
No Remote, but any epson remote will control any epson projector from my experience.
