VINTAGE APPLE iMAC G3 TANGERINE

Classic translucent Tangerine Apple iMac G3 in vintage pre-owned condition.

I recently located a compatible power cord and was able to power the computer on and perform basic testing.

TESTING PERFORMED:

• Powers on successfully

• Boots to the Mac OS user/login screen

• Built-in CRT display is working

• Computer runs quietly during testing

• CD-ROM eject button works

• Disc tray opens and closes properly

• Power button works, although it is pushed/recessed inward

I did not have a compatible keyboard or mouse available, so testing stopped at the user/login screen. There are existing user profiles on the computer, and I do not know whether they are password protected.

Because I could not navigate further through the operating system, CD playback, USB ports, networking, audio, software, and other functions have NOT been fully tested.

The operating system/software appears to be quite old and has not been updated in a long time. A future owner may wish to restore, reinstall, update, or otherwise configure the system.
