Vintage Compaq Armada 7710MT laptop, sold strictly for parts or repair.

The laptop powers on, but it is not fully functional. The screen flickers and does not produce a clear, stable image. At times, some text becomes faintly readable. During startup, there is also an unusual crackling or rattling sound from inside, possibly when a drive starts; the sound then stops. The source of the sound has not been diagnosed.

The screen has displayed startup error text, including “601-Diskette Controller Error.” No further functional testing was completed.

The laptop is in rough cosmetic condition, with substantial dirt, wear, and missing components. Several bays or openings are empty, as shown in the photos. Please examine all photos carefully for the exact condition and what is included. No accessories are included unless pictured.
