Vintage Farallon EhterWave Mac/PB Adapter
This adapter is used to bring 10BASE-T Ethernet connectivity to vintage Apple Macintosh computers and printers that lacked built-in Ethernet ports.
It is plugged into the Mac’s printer port.
EtherWave transceivers featured two RJ-45 ports, allowing users to "daisy-chain" multiple devices together (up to eight) without needing a central Ethernet hub or switch, acting like a 2-port hub themselves.
According to the internet : “EtherWave adapters can function with Open Transport without Farallon’s drivers, but they will only automatically obtain an IP address from a MacIP server. You should still be able to manually assign an IP address.”
Unit has 2 RJ-45 ports and a mini DIN-8 cable connector.
In good condition.
Sold AS-IS cannot test any further than plugging in power and connecting an ethernet cable.
Lights work as they should.
Comes with AC adapter and Quick Start Guide.
