Up for sale/sale is a classic piece of computing history: an original IBM Personal Computer XT (Model 5160).This unit is being sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR as it does not currently boot up.Diagnostic Notes:

• Power Issues: The computer does not turn on. I tested the hard drive power plug with a multimeter and was only receiving 0.5V, indicating a faulty Power Supply Unit (PSU).
• Testing Limits: No further troubleshooting, board diagnostics, or component testing have been performed.

Internal & External Condition Features:

• Processor: Features an authentic AMD D8088 CPU chip (© 1982 AMD) visible on the motherboard.
• Hard Drive: Fitted with a vintage MiniScribe Corporation hard drive (Inspection date sticker: 19 NOV 1987, Serial: TKD 051413).
• Power Supply: Features an original Astec / IBM PSU (P/N 1501439).
• Chassis: The casing, faceplate, and rear ports are in good cosmetic shape for their age, with normal vintage wear. An old asset/service sticker from "Hamilton" remains on the side.
