This is a Vintage NEW OLD STOCK IBM Opal LX 486SLC2 Motherboard. The included manual was printed in 1993, so I am guessing the board was manufactured in 1993 or 1994.I was lucky enough to find this new old stock board along with several others just like it in an air conditioned warehouse that belonged to a computer company that was going out of business. This truly is a new an unused board without a leaking barrel battery.It is not common to find such a board in this condition with the included manual.The motherboard has an integrated CPU - the 486SLC2. I recommend doing some research to understand how this CPU performs, but my understanding is that it performs superior to a 386SX as it has 16kb of L1 cache and an internal clock doubler similar to a 486.This would make a great little high end 386 DOS machine where you are looking to have a reliable board and CPU ready to go.Please message me if you have any questions about the board.
