Vintage Computer Floppy Disk - Estate Find, Collector's Item, Untested, As-IsAbout This Item
This vintage computer floppy disk is a unique estate find, offering a glimpse into the early days of personal computing. Previously used, this disk holds unknown data, making it a fascinating piece for collectors. The "DOS 2.5 Floppy Disk of Antic June-July '90 Golf" likely refers to a specialized disk created for use with the DOS 2.5 operating system, featuring software related to a golf game or simulation, potentially distributed by *Antic* magazine in the June-July 1990 issue. *Antic* was a popular publication dedicated to Atari computers and software in the 1980s and early 1990s. This floppy disk might have contained a golf-themed game or related content, such as a simulation of the sport, a text-based strategy game, or even user-submitted programs. DOS 2.5 was primarily associated with Atari's 8-bit computers, indicating that this disk was intended for that platform. The disk could have been part of the bonus content offered to *Antic* readers, possibly featuring simple 2D graphics and gameplay typical of that era's sports games. The floppy disk would have had limited storage capacity, around 90 KB to 130 KB depending on the format, which would have restricted the complexity of the software. This disk has not been tested, and the information may or may not be included on the disk itself. The disk is sold as-is and untested, reflecting its authentic and untouched condition. The exact item you see in the photographs is what you will receive.
