For sale is a gently used Amazon Kindle K2 - Kindle 2nd generation. NOTE that this kindle is no longer supported by Amazon and can not be registered to an Amazon account and can not download books from Amazon. It is only for side-loading DRM-free books. If you don't know what DRM is, this might not be the right kindle for you.
The kindle is in fantastic condition - I'd say it's mint condition. Not a mark or scratch on the screen - it's perfect. The body of the kindle is also fantastic. There are a few very light scuffs on the white plastic to the left of the screen but it's almost impossible to see them.
The battery is BRAND NEW. Of course, to extend battery life, it should stay in airplane mode because this kindle doesn't have wi-fi, it just used cell service, and the version of cell signal it used is discontinued. There are several DRM-free books on the kindle including the Wizard of Oz Omnibus, which I helped produce. It's all 14 Oz books, with all the original illustrations. Some of the books are short stories (just so you don't think they're all novel-length)
The K2 uses micro USB to charge and connect to a computer, and I'm including a little adapter that you can put on any USB-C cord to convert it to micro-USB to charge the kindle and transfer books. If you really need a cord, too, let me know and I can probably include one.
Smoke-free home. It'll be shipped USPS Ground Advantage with a tracking number. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
