The GS4220E hardware supports network speeds beyond what the included Cat5e Ethernet cable may support in some configurations and at some distances. The Cat5e cable is included for convenience and is suitable for standard Ethernet connections. Buyers wishing to take advantage of higher supported wired speeds may upgrade to an appropriate higher-category Ethernet cable at their own discretion and expense, depending on their network equipment and service.
Internet speeds are dependent on your ISP, network configuration, connected equipment, cabling, and other factors. Please verify compatibility with your Internet service provider/network before purchasing, as Calix equipment is commonly deployed and provisioned by ISPs.
