Commodore Amiga A1200 PAL & mouse  - 32GB SD with Workbench & WHDLoad - testedThis is a lovely PAL Commodore Amiga A1200 with a 32GB SD card and internal IDE interface, supplied with a (third party, not an Amstrad!) CPC mouse. Workbench and WHDLoad are installed on the SD card. The machine is basically stock, with a 68020, 2MB Chip RAM and Kickstart 3.0 ROMs. A classic A1200 with the convenience of modern solid-state storage. The case has been cleaned and looks great, though there are a couple of marks on the bottom (see pics). Even the protective film is still present on the Commodore case badge. The metal RF shielding remains fitted inside.
The keyboard has some age-related yellowing, varying across the keys - it's not bad. It has been disassembled, and the membrane and key-stem contacts have been carefully cleaned. Every key has been tested and works correctly, including the Caps Lock indicator. The keyboard connector locking piece has been replaced (it was missing) and I've fitted new case screws.
The internal floppy drive is an AmigaKit replacement, already fitted when I acquired the machine. It carries an AmigaKit Technical Services quality-control sticker dated 27 April 2015. Current Amiga Test Kit photographs show green results across the full 80-cylinder, double-sided read test, and successful writing OK.
The serial and parallel ports have passed diagnostic testing, as have the CIA timers. Mouse left and right buttons, joystick directions and fire input have also been tested. The external floppy connection and PCMCIA card operation have been checked, and the expansion port has been cleaned. Audio output is strong, loud and clear.
A lovely starting point for your Amiga journey—or a chance to revisit with an old friend. Workbench and WHDLoad already installed.

NORC2001Some notes about the WyoRetro process (unless otherwise stated):
Machines are thoroughly cleaned before sale, including complete keyboard disassembly where appropriate.

Every system undergoes comprehensive functional testing, including a minimum four-hour soak test.

Machines are not recapped solely because of age. Capacitors are replaced only where testing identifies a fault or as part of a full restoration, using high-quality solid polymer capacitors.

Retr0bright is rarely performed and only when genuinely necessary. If a machine has been Retr0brighted, it will always be clearly stated in the listing.

Original parts are retained wherever practical. Components are replaced only where necessary to restore reliable operation or prevent future failure.

Any known faults, cosmetic defects or deviations from original specification will always be clearly identified in the listing.

Every computer I sell is prepared to the same standard as those in my own collection. Any work carried out is documented in the listing, with the aim of preserving original hardware wherever possible while ensuring it is ready for many more years of reliable use.
