The white adapter connects to the FireWire 400 port on PowerPC G3/G4/G5 Macs or to Apple FireWire power adapters when used with Intel Macs, or when used with iPods, iPhones or iPads. An analogue audio cable connects to the audio source and the line-in connection on this iFire adapter to enable the use of the Apple Pro Speakers. One pair of Apple Pro Speakers are included with this bundle. One firewire power adapter with power cord, firewire cable, and line-in audio cable will be included per purchase. This adapter is rare from 2004 and has not been manufactured in many years. It is important to note that the FireWire 400 port on certain Intel Macs will not power this iFire adapter, and this is why the Power Adapter is included. Item is gently used and tested to verify functionality - items may have previous signs of wear, including a slight scuff mark, but the item functions correctly.
