Western Digital briefly made 2.5" Red (NAS-grade) HDDs.And I've stuck two of them in this 6 by 6 by 3 inch Mini PC. :)
What You Get:✅ AsRock DeskMini🟦Intel i5 8500 (65W) CPU- 6 Cores, 3.0Ghz Base / 4.1Ghz Turbo- Quick Sync Video makes this perfect for Jellyfin!📝8gb RAM (dual channel)📀256gb NVMe solid state SSD storage💾 2x 1Tb Western Digital Red 2.5" NAS-grade HDDs🛜 Wifi with gigantic paddle antennas :)✅ Peace of mind that this machine has been fully stress tested end-to-end by an industry professional :)☑️ Power supply included!
Operating System:By default, this machine ships with CachyOS configured to ZFS pool the HDDs into a "Raid 0" configuration. This is meant for testing/demonstration purposes. I've built this with the intention that the customer puts Proxmox (or TruNAS, etc) on it.
Why buy from me?I spent a decade working in systems administration and software development, leaving the industry to study environmental conservation. I think computers are groovy and e-waste is tragic. My goal is to sell you something you'll actually use: the longer these machines work well for someone, the less likely they are to end up in a landfill. :)
Not quite what you're looking for?Check my other items -- I'm always adding new machines.I'm also open to custom build configurations. Feel free to message me!
