Up for sale one main ROM replacement for the Model 102 Computer. It changes the hard coded date from '19' to '20'. Turn off all power from the computer (remove batteries and DC adapter). Then remove the old main rom from inside of the model 102 computer: WARNING: the old ROM on the Model 102 must be de-soldered and removed. I would then suggest placing a 28 pin chip carrier in place of the old ROM, then insert the new ROM into the carrier. Take note of where the notch is on the chip as you insert it. Be sure to discharge static electricity or use ESD procedures when handling the ROM. Align the pins with the motherboard socket and slowly press the ROM into place. All pins should go into their respective holes. Close up the computer, and apply power. Shipping is locked at $4.50 for destinations within the United States.
